Modify Extracted or OCR Text in Inspect

For selected documents, you can delete or replace the contents of Extracted Text or OCR Text during Inspect in the Analyze phase. The replace action deletes the existing value and replaces it with the supplied value. You can supply up to 1024 characters as the replacement text.

Perform the following procedure to modify Extracted or OCR Text.

1. In the Project page, click ANALYZE>INSPECT.
2. In the document list, check the documents to modify.
3. In the Document Actions pane, click Modify.
4. In Select Modify Action, select Modify Native / Image / Text.
5. To delete Extracted Text or OCR Text for the selected documents, in Native/Image/Text Action, select one of the following options.
   • Select Delete Extracted Text.
   • Select Delete OCR Text.
6. To replace Extracted Text or OCR Text for the selected documents, in Native/Image/Text Action, select one of the following options.
   • Select Replace Extracted Text and supply the text to use in Text Value.
   • Select Replace OCR Text and supply the text to use in Text Value.
7. Click Submit.
8. To view the completion of the submitted Bulk Modify job, click .
